Windows 10: Extremely low download speed on Wifi only

Since March I have had an issue with the internet speed on my HP Laptop. When I run a speed test on the WiFi the download is 0.55 and the upload is 10.6. When I plug the laptop in with the Ethernet cable the download is over 100 and the upload is 12. I have read many others posts with the same issue and have tried the instructions with the resets and flush commands and they work momentarily but they never last. Sometimes only working a few minutes before reverting back to a super slow download speed. The iPad and the Mac book are working fine with fast speeds. I have the iPad, Mac book, one cell phone, and the laptop on the WiFi, but even when I disconnect all the others, it does not help the download speed at all. This is definitely a Windows issue because my boss's laptop does the same exact thing at his house. I have brought my laptop to work and when I connect the the WiFi at work, it does the same thing, 0.44 download. I have bought 3 different routers/modems, bought a WiFi extender and ultimately bought a new computer and there has been no change.



The version of Windows I am operating on is Version 2004 OS Build 19041.450.


Please help! This is the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with and working from home is pretty much impossible. I have spent hundred of hours trying to fix this and nothing has worked 100%, just temporary fixes.

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?

Download speed is low

When I am downloading something from the Microsoft Store, Steam or Epic Store, the speed is too low. My Internet speed is 100 MB, so the downloading speed from the Microsoft Store should be about 10MB. But I get about 4 MB. Why is it happening?

Download speed also depends on the kind of network adapter that you have on a computer. We would suggest that you uninstall the network driver, restart your computer after to let Windows install a new driver for your Windows 10 computer.



To uninstall your network driver, follow the steps below:

• Click Start, type Device Manager, and press
  Enter. Alternatively, you can also press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the options.
• Find and double-click the category of device whose driver you wish to uninstall (for example, the graphics card would be listed under Display Adapters).
  
• Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
• Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
  
• After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.
