Windows 10: Facebook video call not working on Win10 PC Allow Camera/Mic error

Hello,Facebook video call does not work on Win10 computer. Camera and Mic are allowed in the browser settings and in WIn10 privacy setting.Also tried several different browsers and issue still persists. Video call works on my phone while on the same network via WiFi. Also there is no firewall blocking traffic and tried to allow camera mic access via group policy And yes I scanned the computer for corrupted system filesThank youChris

Facebook messenger won't access camera or microphone

When I try to video chat with someone on Facebook, I get that message.
Code:
An error occurred when tryin to get access to camera and/or microphone. Hardware access error. To make a call on Facebook, you need to turn on your camera and microphone on. It used to work fine. Now I have that error in all my browsers. And it's activated. Have verified privacy settings to allow both of them.

I fixed the settings in skype itself to get the video camera to work. The mic did work already. I am only using windows defender for AV, nothing else. And it's been on here the whole time. I've gone to windows settings and enabled everything for mic and video, that seemed to have also helped with Skype. Nothing has changed in Facebook.

 

Camera and mic not working together

Desktop PC - the built in microphone works fine until the built in camera is opened. The video and mic need to be both working at the same time for video conference calls. All the privacy settings seem to be correct to allow both access.
