    Facing issues with BSOD on PC


    Hi,
    I am getting very frequent crashes and BSODs when surfing the internet and watching youtube,downloading files. For really unknown reason, computer goes into BSOD with tcpip.sys error.

    Microsoft Windows version 1903 (OS Build 18363.720)

    I understand that you are facing BSOD issues on your PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:



    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
    3. What is the make and model of the PC?
    4. When do you receive the BSOD error?


    Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?



    Meanwhile, you may want to refer the Troubleshoot blue screen errors
    and see if that helps.



    However, to identify the root cause of the issue we need to analyze the dump files located in
    C:\Windows\Minidump, please upload the dump files on OneDrive and share the link with us.

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you are facing Blue Screen of Death issues on your PC. For further clarities on this issue, please respond to the questions below:



    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. What is the make and model of the motherboard?
    3. How many RAM sticks are you using?
    4. When exactly do you receive the Blue Screens?


    Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?



    Based on the dump files you have shared, the file ntkrnlmp.exe is causing the BSOD on your PC. You may want to refer the
    Troubleshoot blue screen errors and see if that helps.



    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned below and see if that helps.



    Method 1:



    Try booting the PC into Safe Mode and see if the PC crashes.
    Refer the article Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10



    If the PC is not crashing in Safe Mode, then try booting the PC in Clean Boot and see if the PC crashes while playing PUBG. Refer the article
    How to perform a clean boot in Windows



    Performing a clean boot will start the computer with minimal set of drivers and programs, to determine whether a background program is causing the issue. Some of the Startup programs will not load after performing a clean boot on the computer.
    However, that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after finishing the troubleshooting.




    If the PC doesn’t crash after performing Clean Boot, then please refer the section
    How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot
    to identify the root cause of the issue.

    Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting
    to boot the computer in to normal mode after troubleshooting




    Method 2:



    Run Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check for RAM errors.



    1. Press Windows + S keys together to open
      Search.
    2. Now type Memory and click on
      Windows Memory Diagnostic
      .
    3. Click on Restart now and check for problems.
    4. Follow the on screen instructions

    Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
