Windows 10: Factory Reset - 0 sound

Motherboard: TUF-Gaming B360M-E

My Desktop's 2nd usb component was suffering from 'power surges' I have an IntelR USB eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 [Microsoft], 3 USB Composite Device's, and a USB Root Hub [USB 3.0]. I failed to fix the standalone issue & initiated a factory reset of my Desktop. Afterwards, unfortunately, I have 0 sound output and I cannot diagnose the issue. I have come here for some assistance with my issue.I'm a tech dud...


I have attempted to reinstall audio drivers and update audio drivers device manager, factory reset my computer again, followed the instructions of numerous youtube videos and other forums posts before posting on this forum.

Sound mixer is suffering from the same issue as volume mixer. I've tested audio input and the computer is recognising it, but I'm expecting the result to correspond with my output issues: https://postimg.cc/hhxdgfxK


So, the issue is that, my computer is under the illusion that output and input are working, but my speaker/recording devices aren't plugged in - therefore, I can't hear anything or record anything. This happened after my initial factory reset. Thanks for the help. I'm not sure which is the appropriate topic to list this under but I've chosen 'performance & system failures' because that seems the most relevant.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
