Windows 10: Factory Reset Minecraft Problems

Backed up my computer to an external hard drive before doing a factory reset on my computer in hope to solve some technical issues.Also did a secondary back up of only my Minecraft main world to a memory stick just in case.Order of what I have done:Copied the data from the external hard drive onto the computer.Reinstalled Minecraft.Installed java, then fabric so that Opti fine would work.Loaded up Minecraft.None of my saves loaded at all.Checked folder, found unusual rename of all files example photo .Copied world from memory stick.World from memory stick works fine.The unusual naming of fi

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Step 1: Reset the app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.

Minecraft owned but pc had to be reset to factory

My son bought minecraft for his windows 10 pc but the OS got corrupt and had to reset pc back to factory. how can he access Minecraft without having to buy it again. thanks!
