Windows 10: Factory Reset Windows 10 without user intervention

Hi


I've looked for this answer online and have come across the "systemreset -factoryreset" command which works, but it comes up with the prompt asking if I want to keep my files or remove everything, I want to remove everything but without the prompt.


We are trying to accomplish this remotely as our users are all at home, so I need to automate it and have no user involvement in the process, I just want it to factory reset, and bring the laptop up to the off-the-shelf state configuration.


Does anyone know if this is possible?

• Any changes made on the computer prior to this concern?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
  
• May we know the reason why you want to perform a factory reset?
• Did you experience any issues on the computer before you tried performing a factory reset?
  

 

User Intervention Required - Windows 10

This page from HP's website shows that your printer is not supported
on Windows 10. The most recent driver was written for Windows 7.

"Not supported" doesn't necessarily mean that the printer won't work - it means that HP hasn't tested your printer on Windows 10 and hasn't taken any steps to make it compatible with Windows 10. That means your printer may or may not work properly and HP
has no solution to offer you, so you're basically on your own.

"User intervention required" typically means that you have to do something - push a button, change a dial, etc. - at the printer itself, rather than at the computer. Look at the printer's display (if it has one) or indicator lights to figure out what it
is you need to do.

"User intervention required" can also mean that you're out of paper. Don't ask how I figured
that out.

 

USER INTERVENTION MESSAGE

I have windows 10. When I ask it to print I get a message of user intervention and it won't print. I have HP Envy 7640 printer
