This is like the third time I have tried a factory reset on my desktop, and its been stuck at 1 percent for about 2 hours. How long should I expect this to take?

  2. Win 10 phone backup

I am trying to thoroughly and completely set up my LUMIA 950 XL.

I am just having to figure it out as I go, and keep documentation.

So far I have done the following:

    A. Factory Reset

    B. Fresh install

    C. WDRT procedure

    D. Additional updates via Settings/Update

    E. Settings/APPS/OfflineMaps

    F. Settings/APPS/Apps&features &&

    G. The full APP list under START

Here I deleted EVERY module I didn't want on my phone.

And remarkably there WERE NOT (!!) any modules where

MS prevented me from uninstalling the modules I wanted to.

    H. Settings/APPS/AppsForWebsites

These are the steps I have completed so far. I really really

want a proper backup at this point before I continue with

more steps. I made a backup as I explained and I may just

have to take a chance and FactoryReset and do a restore

    and see what happens.

I have my notes but it could set me back about 10 hours.

    Suggestions welcome.

    FactoryReset

How can I do a Full Reset of a 6021

There is no code or keycombination to do a full reset. Just do a factoryreset, erase your contacts and then it must be all empty.

If not, ask for a firmware update at your local Nokia Service Point without restoring user data
