Windows 10: Failed "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 amd64 2019-03" error code 0x8007007e

I realized that my automatic windows update has not been happening for a very long time.

now when I am trying to update it just gets stuck at 49% and fails with error code 0x8007007e.

I have tried updating numerous times.

Disabling windows defender didn't help.

Windows update troubleshooter didn't help.

Method 1: No third party antivirus, running Defender. Update to Feature update version 1803 Error 0x8007007e

Method 3: Fails at attempting to run msconfig. No error message.

Method 2: each step completed without error. Update status failed error 0x8007007e

I suspect serious file corruption because the user let the hard drive get too full.

I keep getting the window to have security updates for Microsoft but every time I go to install it gives me the error code 0x8007007e and I cant find anything to help fix it. in my update history it keeps listing failed installations of 'update for windows
10 version 1607 for x64-based systems (KB4049411) - Error 0x8000ffff' or 'update for windows 10 version 1607 for x64-based systems (KB4033631) - Error 0x8000ffff' and 'feature update to windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0x8007007e

........please tell me how I can fix this. its incredibly frustrating.

 

Updates 'KB4134661' and 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803' failed

My OS is Windows 10 Pro version 1709 (OS Build 16233.309)

The following updates failed:

• KB4134661: Failed with error code 0x80073712
• Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803: Failed with error code 0x800703ed

I tried already the following:

• Use the trubelshoot: 'Potential Windows Update Database error detected is displayed
• I tried to clean the above-name error following
  this
• I tries to reset the whole Window update executin this

• Offline update downoading the iso. However the upgrade window stops with this message 'We're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 10' (May be because the partition of my hard drive with a Linux release)
  

Can somebody help me with this?
