Windows 10: failed targeted read test. How to fix it?

I have a Lenovo desktop. Ran a scan and it showed I have a "targeted read test" failure. Here is what it showed: WDC WDIOEZEX-08M2NAO 931.51GBSresult code WHDOIVOO2-WH7XMM

Had problems with my Lenovo ideapad 305 over the weekend that stopped my opening. All i could get was a blank screen with the whirling dots and after about a minute they stopped and left me with a black screen that i could move the curser on but would not
open. I tried all the usual reset, repair etc but nothing would help me continue.

After talking to John Lewis we eventually found the Onekey reset and carried out the required reatart. Everything worked fine until i updated windows(10) and then had the same problem.

I applied the Onekey reset again and carried out the hardware check and it shows up with the targeted read test and smart short shelf test fail before i updated or installed anything and gave me a code but i cannot find where to send it. Also now when i
open it says repaired drive D 100% every time i open up?

Now going to apply the updates again but hoping someone can help with the fails or where to send the fail code or even why the laptop failed over the weekend.

Hard disk tests failed

Hello, I ran the Dell support assistant on my laptop device and i found two errors in my hard disk as below:

• Targeted read Test. Error code "WDH20-VWI".
• SMART short self test. Error code "WHD16-EAD".

Could please any one help solving these problems without replacing my hard drive.

 

RPi2 from Windows cross compilation Error "The test for linking against libxcb failed!"

Error in Cross Compilation, I am using Qt5.0, Windows10, Raspberry Pi 2.
I was following this tutorial and the process failed at step 16 and tried with its suggestion but cannot find a solution.

Error prompted after step 16 is:

Running configuration tests...
The test for linking against libxcb failed!
Use of pkg-config is not enabled, maybe you want to pass -force-pkg-config?
You might need to install dependency packages for libxcb.
See src/plugins/platforms/xcb/README.

and when I printed log in file as tutorial suggested, there are some errors mentioned like:

• cc1plus.exe: error: unrecognized command line option '-fuse-ld=gold'
  
• error "Symbolic function binding on this architecture may be broken, disabling it (see QTBUG-36129)."
  
• etc.
  

I tried but still find no solution.
