Windows 10: Failed Update for 2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based...

I am having trouble getting the update for 2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems KB5001649 to install. I am getting the error message 2147956498 The component store has been corrupted.

I have tried the following to fix this,


1.Run the ResetWU [COLOR=rgba77, 81, 86, 1][COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Reset Windows Update Agent and that also Failed to [/COLOR][/COLOR][COLOR=rgba77, 81, 86, 1][COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]complete.[/COLOR][/COLOR]


2.I hid the all Microsoft Services, Disable All and restarted. Tried to update with same error message above.

3.First, I pushed the patch update through the Manage Engine. It's failed to install and occurred same error and it's same for installing manually.


I have put in close to 48 hours on trying to fix this and want to make sure I am not making it worse than it is now. Any suggestions? Thank you

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

I have Windows 10 and there is an update that never updates. The • 2018-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4088776) just stays there and wants to be updated but never updates. Any suggestions??
