    Failing PC after Windows 10 Update 1803


    My PC is having some major issues since the latest Windows 10 update. At the moment there is no audio as the Windows Audio service refuses to start with a pop up message "Access is Denied". My broadband speed is seriously getting chocked and after speed test my download rate is less than 1mb, and now the PC is also very slow to boot up.


    This definately due to the latest update which I completed only a few days ago and everything was running perfectly well before then. Is it safe to roll back without affecting any work saved and applications installed?

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
