    Failure upgrading from W11 21H2 to W11 22H2


    G'day, all. First, the obligatory major specs:Gigabyte X570S Aorus MasterRyzen 9 5900X 370032GB GSKill 3600NVIDIA RTX2080 SuperBasically what it says on the tin. "Normal" updates succeed, but all installation methods for 22H2 Std. win update, installation assistant, upgrade from created USB media Fail. Standard update yields a 0x8007001F, WIA and USB fail with "Update failed." Tried most recommended actions already. Doing a "Clean Boot" upgrade takes twice as long, but gives the same errors. I've already run SetupDiag and pulled Setupact.log and Setuperr.log from Panther. Rollback do

    Force upgrade from W10 pro to W11 Pro, without 22H2 build.

    Why Microsoft is forcing a 22H2 Windows 11 build when upgrading systems from Windows 10 21H2/22H2?
    We have almost 300 devices, and we need to upgrade them to 11, but we do not want the new build from 22H2 yet.
    Is there any way to get W11 upgrade using Windows Update, but with a 21H2 Build?

    Hey Dave, thanks for your answer!

    W11 22h2 has a lot more updates than the 21H2, that seems more stable.
    Our devices running W10 22H2 has way more updates compared to 21H2, we don't want that.
    Also, we don't use WSUS, we are a full remote company, so we need a way to minimize these non-wanted updates.

    Do you have any other suggestion? Maybe something with GPedit, locking the release upgrade to 21H2?

    Quick question regarding a W10 Pro to W11 upgrade

    I have the notification that I can upgrade to W11 22H2 in updates services.

    I 'm currently running W10 Pro because I utilize Hyper-V.

    Does the upgrade to W11 22H2 automatically put me on the Pro version or does it dump me to Home?
