Windows 10: Fall Creators Update random reboots WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)

In safe mode I've rebooted and sometimes windows says it's attempting to fix problems/repair computer, then it bsods with sometimes the old irql_not_less_or_equal but usually with the error Driver Power State Failure - then I can boot (incredibly slowly) and here I am again with my logs attached.

It's definitely something in the Fall Creators update as I just restored an old Macrium image to before that and ran ok all morning and last night, then back to this state and I'm crashing again - and it's the only update I've received that I can tell. Plus, many other users finding something in the FCU is producing the same issue over at microsoft answers.

This latest log was done with Driver Verifier enabled

 

The errors are 0x124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (Windows Hardware Error Architecture)
This means that there are problems with your hardware, but this error is also caused by overclocking, faulty drivers, overheating, improper seating or BIOS problems.

• check the health,
• scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
• run a benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following

• the health,
• the error scan,
• the benchmark incl. following
  • transfer rate,
  • access time,
  • burst rate,
  • cpu usage.

Run the long test.

GPU TEST

Note Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.


Warning Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.
Make a photo of the result and post it.

In Furmark you can find a tool called 'GPU-Z' (if you want to install GPU-Z is up to you), when GPU-Z is open click on the 'Sensors' tab, on this tab you can monitor

• the frequency of the GPU,
• the GPU memory clock,
• the temperature,
• the power,
• the load on the GPU,
• Etc.

I would like you to make a screenshot of GPU-Z after you have either cancelled Furmark for any reason or Furmark is finished, post this screenshot in your next reply with the result of Furmark.

 

Same problem here. I think every time I was in Chrome. Discard any problem with your hardware, after all I've seen, the problem is with Windows 10, specifically after the Fall Creators update. Any problem with MBOs or AMD CPUs, I do not know. There does not seem to be much to do but hope that Microsoft fixes the problem. If you have any clues, any clues, share them. I will do the same.

 

I've switched to Chromium temporally and disabled the Google updater apps and - touch wood - I've not had a crash since I last posted. Not saying it's fixed, or was chrome, but for me I'm seemingly doing better.
