Windows 10: Family invitation sent to incorrect email, now can’t remove

Hello,When setting up my family, an invitation was sent to an incorrect email address. Now I am unable to remove that family member because I am not the person who provided consent for that individual. I’m concerned about some very real security risks.For some reason Microsoft appears to provide no support for their own platform.Any idea how I can get this person removed from my family? Or can I simply dissolve and re-setup the family? Or does that take an approval of some unknown individual?Thank you.

There could be a corruption with the Family Safety settings. I suggest you to remove and re-add the account.

Follow these steps:

• Go to
  https://account.microsoft.com/family#/
• You will see the child account listed with a message saying that the invitation has been sent.
• Click on Remove option and select the child account with the "invitation has been sent" message.
• Click the Add option and re-enter your child's email address.

Microsoft Account Invitation Email Not Received so Account Still Pending.

Can you share few information regarding the issue?

Does both the members log in using their emails?

Are you referring to the invitation to join in Family Safety?

Are you trying to invite the users in family safety, if yes then you need to remove the users who are not receiving the invitation and then re-create the users in the family safety online page.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/family#/

• 
  Check the user which says invitation has been sent.
  
• 
  Click on remove link.
  
• 
  Select the user with the invitation has been sent message.
  
• 
  Click the add link where you enter the users email address.
  

I suggest you to follow this steps if you are talking about email invitation about family safety.

Child email invite to join family not received

I have validated that the child email account receives email, and that the invites are being sent to other child email accounts. This child was assigned to the family previously, but I ran into issues with the account. I removed them from the family
in an attempt to clear up the issue believing I could reinvite them but even though the system is indicating the the invite has been sent, the invite never reaches their inbox. I have gone through several iterations of removing the invite so the system will
let me send subsequent invites, but to no avail. The system reports that the invite has been sent, but I don't think it really is being sent. I am now unable to add the child to the family because the invite never reaches their e-mail account. Is there
a Microsoft constraint that prevents a child who once belonged to the family from being added back? Let's confirm on the server side that the email invite was indeed sent, because I think there is a constraint that is preventing it. Hopefully my years in
IT will help us move quickly past the check this/that. Thanks for your assistance!
