Windows 10: Fanatec Drivers Install Problem

Discus and support Fanatec Drivers Install Problem in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Can't install Fanatec drivers for wheel base 2.5. Have the correct 64 bit drivers from Fanatec site.     Fanatec Drivers Install Problem


    Can't install Fanatec drivers for wheel base 2.5. Have the correct 64 bit drivers from Fanatec site. Also tried Beta drivers. Install process starts then stops with this msg:

    Fanatec wheel not detected in Windows 10 using latest driver v 226 for Windows 10

    The Fanatec wheel appears in Device Manager when I view Hidden Devices. I do not see it in Settings/Devices. I perform Add a Device with no success. Fanatec support has not been able to provide any meaningful guidance.

    I have tried numerous ways of resolving the issue including install and repair the driver with Norton disabled. Uninstalling USB ports. Researching on the Internet. I am hoping that someone will provide a trouble shooting method beyond what I have already
    attempted. Of course I have not listed everything I have tried.

    Is there some application that can assist in the troubleshooting process?
