    Fans going mad in games!

Just recently, my fans have started going crazy when running VR or games like Read Dead Redemption 2. Now, this didn't used to happen.

When I look at temps via MSI Afterburner (or fpsVR in VR) during play, the GPU temp is usually between 65 and 75 degrees with similar values for the CPU. With monitor games, it doesn' seem to matter whether I play in 4K or 1440p, same thing happens.

The noise is so bad and constant, that I have to turn up the volume quite a bit at times.

Why should this be, and how can I tell what fans are kicking in, CPU or GPU? Any help appreciated.

    Windows 1903.

    :)

How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)
