    in trying to play an online game everquest 2, keep getting the below error:everquest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.<verify>G:\life\eq2\framework\core\devices\directx9renderdevice.cpp 6418:direct X errorhave tried going through their help department, and have done all the requested updates, but still get the same error related to the direct X issue.

    Fatal Error

    I've been trying to format my system but right after it finishes formatting I get a Fatal Error during the Windows installation process. That Fatal Error is a Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). I know that it's because of my hard drives, but how do I fix this issue? I have 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA II Hard Drives in RAID 0. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. *Smile fatal error 6814 Direct X :)

    • Where have checked for the version of Direct x?


    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check:


    • Press Windows + R keys together.

    • Type dxdiag in the run prompt and hit enter.

    • Now check for the version of Direct x.

    Thanks for all your replies/suggestions

    Okay so,

    I'm not running any overlay software.

    The issue is consistent, as in every time I complete a mission, the game crashes instead of going into the next cutscene.

    There are no errors when I run dxdiag.

    I'm about to reinstall direct X, update, and see if that changes anything..
