  1. fault offset 0x000dfa1d and faulting module ntdll.dll when attempting to launch a source...

For some reason, I've never been able to fix this issue and I think it may be a Windows issue.

Source games on steam do not launch for some reason, I've tried almost every fix that is on the internet and I've had zero luck. I forgot what I did exactly but I did a check to see what errors were coming when steam tried launching the game. It told me fault offset 0x000dfa1d and faulting module ntdll.dll when I looked through, tried checking on google for some ways to fix this but none have worked at all! I really need some assistance and would appreciate any help available, thank you!

By the way this is what I've attempted:

    - Gain ownership of C:/WINDOWS/SYSWOW64/WBEM/FASTPROX.DLL and assigned myself administrator and user full control of the file.
    - Renamed FASTPROX.DLL to FASTPROX.DLLOLD
    - Re-installed Windows 10
    - Updated Windows 10
    - Verified my files on steam
    - Ran the game as administrator
    - Ran steam as administrator
    - Making a shortcut of the exe game file and launching from that.

    :)

I already reinstall the application 3 times. My friend on very similar machine with same OS has no problems with this app, so my doubts are laying on ntdll.dll. Are there any way to reinstall or fix it?

sfc /scannow and regsvr32.exe give no result, all important Windows updates installed
