    Favicons in Edge Favourites Bar...


    Since the last update, all the favicons in my favourites bar have changed to a 5-point star.

    If I hide, then show the favourites bar again via settings, the correct site favicons re-appear, but then revert to stars the next time I open Edge.

    Any ideas, please?

    Problem Importing Bookmarks from Firefox into Win 10 Edge browser.

    In Edge:

    • click on the three dots top right corner ". . ." to show the drop down menu
    • from this dropdown menu select "Settings" (should be last on list)
    • Near the top, slide the "Show the favourites bar" on. Exit Settings.
    • Go to the hub (three horizontal lines) to access Favourites (the star) n.b. You can access History from here too.
    • If you've done 1,2 and 3 correctly, the Favourites Bar folder should be there. You can then create sub folders or shift existing folders into it.
    Maybe US version is different? Not sure.

    In Firefox you can replace standard yellow folders on the favourites bar with more interesting colourful Favicons but I can't see a way to do that with Edge.

    Favicons don't show up in IE or Edge

    The little picture next to the favourite that makes it a lot faster to find your favourites only shows up on a few favourites in IE and MS Edge. Every single favicon. shows up in Chrome & Firefox.

    I find this really annoying and don't understand why it still hasn't been fixed. They don't even get erased when you clear the history in Chrome either.

    I thought I'd dig this up again, as I never found a solution to it.

    With the experience of the past few months, could anyone shed any light on it please?
