    Please explain in more detail:

    - After clearing all tabs, does Internet Explorer display an empty page?

    - On the next start-up from the app list, does Internet Explorer still display an empty page?

    If manually entering m.google.com in the browser - does it redirect correctly to a list of Google web-apps?

    We need to figure out when and where the redirect to the FBI ransomware page happens.

    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows + R keys, opens the Run Command.
    • Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
    • Under General Tab, select Tabs.
    • Select if the Warn me when closing the multiple tabs is
      checked      .
