I cancelled my cable TV because I only watched one or two shows and I also cancelled my land line. I saved over $100 a month, started buying movies. I have around 400 now. I like to watch them more than once so want to own them instead of streaming. Later I got a land line back and lucked out with a promotion of $9 a month for two years with the cable company's best. I have a T Mobile To Go which cost me an average of $8. a month. I renew once a year for $100 with roll over on my minutes.

  3. *Roflmao2 That totally cracked me up, mostly because it is so true! I'm sure that they'd have no trouble doing that, as long as they were the only ones to benefit from it.

OTOH, if ordinary voters were supposed to benefit ... *Sad

Over the air analog tv is dead here. Everything is now digital. Older tv's need a converter box to receive any channels.

I have 600 Minutes talk, 5,000 texts and about 1Gb data. Hi there

1 GB of data wouldn't even let me watch 50% (HALF) of a decent HD Movie !!!!! I think when 4K quality is available you'd just about get enough time to see the opening title before your 1GB is up.

1GB limit on any sort of Broadband these days is just a WASTE OF TIME !!!!. Even on a phone I get unlimited 4G service - and my Broadband is FREE -- ZILCH 0 EUR. The stupid "Line Rental" that you have to have thrown in costs around 25 EUR but you do get a load of free evening and weekend calls - not that I ever bother using a Landline any more unless phoning up one of those nightmare "Customer service centres".

Seems like some of you are spending a SMALL FORTUNE on some of these services -- over 3,000 USD in some cases !!!!! in a few years that's equivalent to being able to put a deposit down on a nice piece of Real estate (mega expensive places like NYC, Paris, London obviously excluded of course).

    Cheers
