Windows 10: Feature update to 1903 - 0x80070003 - 0x2000D error

Discus and support Feature update to 1903 - 0x80070003 - 0x2000D error in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I'm trying to upgrade around 100 PCs to the latest 1903 update, with most of them currently on 1511.     Feature update to 1903 - 0x80070003 - 0x2000D error


    I'm trying to upgrade around 100 PCs to the latest 1903 update, with most of them currently on 1511. Around a third won't update, it keeps rolling back the update. I've tried updating through WSUS, using the iso file and using a USB stick but some just won't update however I do it.


    I've tried sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth which got a couple of PCs to update but the rest still won't update.


    I've got this in the setuperr.log file of one as an example:

    Any help much appreciated before I have to install Windows from scratch.

    "0x80070003 - 0x2000D" Error When Installing Windows 10 1903 Update using Media Creation Tool

    Hello,

    I'm trying to install the latest version of Windows 10 (1903) using the Media Creation Tool. I've been struggling to update my Win 10 (currently sits at version 1709) but was unsuccesful so far. Every time, upgrade gets to about
    86%, but then it restarts with the message "Undoing changes to Windows" and boots to desktop with this message:

    "We could not install Windows 10"

    0x80070003 - 0x2000D

    The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation

    Hi Nilton,

    I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.

    Windows 10 feature update to version 1903 fails with error code 0x80070003

    Windows 10 feature update to version 1903 fails with error code 0x80070003 after numerous attempts. I have followed Microsoft's own guide to fix Windows update problems to no avail (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10164/fix-windows-update-errors).
    Please help me, I would be very thankful.
