Windows 10: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809 amd64 2019-04 problem

Installed the above update and my PC is almost unusable. Having problems opening Outlook, Word and can not use Edge AT ALL so having to use Google Chrome to contact you!!! Have also lost some settings which appears to happen any time there is an update.


Will uninstall update but please fix urgently.

March 2019 Windows update

Feature update to Windows 10 version 1809 amd64 2019-03 will not install after repeated attempts

 

Explorer and taskbar keep freezing after installing Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809 amd64 2019-03

I have Surface Pro 4

I installed Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809 amd64 2019-03 as well as quality updates. Now the computer keeps freezing so that the tesk bar does not work and I cannot use alt-tab to go between applications

I have tried using a restore to go back to before the update but the update is still shown as installed

I have tired going back to an earlier version of windows and still the same problem with the update still showing as installed

What do I do now?

FWIW

I rolled back to an earlier version of Windows and am now on build 17134

I could not find the link state power management

I did cleanup disk

I did not update any drivers

I reset the Winsock catalogue

I did not increase VM

I did not uninstall Acronis

The Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809 amd64 2019-03 seems to be installed

PC is now behaving itself

Should I be on a newer version of Windows?
