Windows 10: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809

My computer automatically downloaded and started the install of the Windows 10 update, version 1809...the update that could delete my files if it is installed. It is in standby mode waiting for my computer to restart. Of course, with all the news about lost files I do NOT want to restart and install this update.


How do I stop the update from happening?

today I tried to update to feature update to windows 10 version 1809(64 bit) I am getting error code 0x80240034. How to overcome from this error.

It's funny that Microsoft has not included disk cleanup in the list of "Features we’re no longer developing", in another blog they already announced that this feature will be "deprecated", although in this list this clarification is made:




PS, @Brink, just out of curiosity, why did you add the word "deprecated"? in the original text it doesn't appear.

Try updating to Windows 10 October update version 1809, manually.

The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.
