Windows 10: Feature Update to Windows 10, Version 1909

Hi.

I am trying to download the feature update to version 1909. I will just give an account of what has happened till now, because I have no idea where or what has went wrong.

I tried to open a .xaml page in VS Community, but it said that to render the viewer, my PC needs to have a Windows 10, version 1903 or above. So I went over to the Updates settings to check for updates. There were two pending updates - one was a security update for version 1809 and other was the feature update to version 1909. I clicked on the download and install now link. It started downloading I don't know which of the above two, but I guess, it was the feature update. After about 2-3 hours I don't have wi-fi or broadband and have to depend on mobile data which is really slow the download was at 99% I think it was stuck there was some time. I closed the settings window and opened it again to find that the progress had moved up and now it was installing don't know how, but it was installing the intelligence update. I believe a little more clarification is required here after the statement in the brackets. While downloading, it displayed two lets say headings - one for feature update which showed pending download and the percent downloaded, and the other for intelligence update, that just showed a pending install this is confusing, and a ss might have helped but I don't have it, sorry!. After the install was complete, another install started - the one of feature update. It started at 0%, directly jumped to 7% and got stuck there for 2 hours. Meanwhile, the intelligence update required a restart, so I thought, maybe after the restart it will work perfectly. So I restarted my PC. When I opened the window again, it was showing feature update - downloading 0% stuck here for a day. I reached to the help bot, and also tried troubleshooting, but only change that happened was that it's now showing installing - 7% stuck again like the previous day and I'm afraid to turn off my computer again, lest I should lose that progress too.

PS : I am also monitoring the progress through task manager, and it shows that Windows Update or System Host : Windows Update are neither consuming any disk space or CPU or network connection implying, they're not working at all and it's just … STUCK!

Windows Update History shows both Feature Updates 1903 and 1909 installed

After I installed the Windows 10 Feature Update from 1903 to 1909 my Windows Update History shows

Feature Update to Windows 10, version 1903

Looking in the About page it lists Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720

In the past when I've installed a Feature Update it only shows the new update. In other words in this case it would only show 1909. Since it shows 1903 also is my computer really upgraded to 1909? Also the (2) after the 1909 is something I don't understand.

I would appreciate any help on this.

BUG in feature update to windows 10 version 1909 via enablement package (KB4517245)

This is the first time I've seen this 'fix'...didn't work here as the instructions could not be followed. Step 1: done., Step 2: done., Step3 no clue as I hit every item listed and nothing
show your 'view installed updates'. Choose on the left or right-hand side....nothing updates I could find..
