Windows 10: Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 - Error 0xc1900104

I have received this error several times trying to apply the feature update. Apparently something is locked and the update times out. Is there a log that indicates the locking issue?

When I used Windows Update I had error I used the troubleshooter yet still this error for this Windows Update: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0xc1900104

0XC1900104 MOSETUP_E_PROCESS_TIMEOUT The installation process did not complete within the required time limit.

This is a very general error not helpful much indeed.

Try updating to 1903 using Media Creation tool and if it fails let us know.

The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.

Please download Media Creation Tool from the link below and select Upgrade this PC at the first screen.

You can see the size of the MSR (Microsoft System reserved) partition in a Command Prompt or in PowerShell...

Select Disk 0

List Part

Exit

Windows uses 16 MB these days, but a larger size (124 MB, IIRC) might be a holdover of a previous version. That would be OK. I doubt your MSR is the problem. The size of your Recovery Partition looks a tad odd to me - too big to be Microsoft, somewhat small
to be OEM. But let's duck the issue for now.
