    I love using Paint!! My only complaint has always been that I cannot select a specific zoom magnification.


    Now, since the update, if I select a small area, there are handles but the cursor arrows are only diagonal making it difficult to stretch the selection precisely. It only provides a horizontal or vertical arrow with a larger selection. Ugh! Major issue that I now have to try to work around.

    Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

    In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

    Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

    Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

    • Does this issue occur on other projects you are working on using Paint 3D?
    • Were there any recent changes done/updates installed on your system prior to this happening?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
