    So I have the terrible "You'll need the internet for this." error message on any app i try to download from the microsoft store, or legit do anything that relates to the store. I can browse it, and thats about it. The error code is 0x800704cf - I've tried legit everything I could find on youtube, tech sites, tutorials - What do I do???? (I'm on a lenovo yoga 920, if that helps too)

  3. App Store sign in issue Windows 10

    Hi Russ,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

    As you are facing issues with logging-in to the Windows Store with Microsoft account, do let us know if you have logged-in to your computer using Microsoft account?

    I suggest you to perform Windows Store reset and check if it helps.

    Steps to clear the Store cache:

    • Press the Windows + R keys on the keyboard.
    • Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
    • Reboot the computer and then check the issues with the Windows Store.

    I understand how it could be when the applications doesn’t work as they are supposed to. We will look into this. However, please reply to the following questions to help you in a better way:

    • Are you getting any error message?
    • Since when are you facing this issue?
    • Are you aware of any changes made on the computer recently?

    In the meantime, I suggest you to follow the steps from the article
    Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store
    to fix the issues with the Microsoft apps that are not launching. Also, follow the steps from the article

    Microsoft Store doesn't launch
    to fix the issues you are facing in launching Store.
