Windows 10: Few High vulnerabilities has bee detected in INTEL processors, so Intel processors based...

Some researchers found some vulnerabilities in some intel processors and intel advised to update the latest bios firmware included latest released microcode to affected intel processors ungently through the motherboard manufacturers, system builders, and laptop manufacturers.


Also, intel inc said, intel has already sent the microcodes to all OEM manufacturers to build new bios firmwares.

So please, I request all the affected intel processors based laptop or desktop users, should contact their respective brand support team and insist to release latest BIOS firmware which includes latest microcode.

Good thing I just bought an AMD Ryzen 2700X*Smile

 

Replace AMD Processor With Intel Processor.

I am using an laptop with AMD processor. but i wanted to change the processor only not the laptop. i wanted to add intel Core i7 processor in the place of AMD. But i have heard that AMD cannot be replaced by intel or other processors since the slots are
seen to be different. OR is there any other processor which is equivalent to INTEL i7.

Another day another Intel vulnerability…

I swear, I see a new side-channel bug coming out every month or so for my Intel processors… It's getting out of hand. Good thing it's been patched, but at what performance cost? Soon my Intel processors will be perfoming worse than a carrot… A new silicon is desperately needed now.
