Windows 10: File Explorer Crashing

I have a brand new Dell XPS running on Windows 10. Only program on it is Office. Every time I try to open a document through the File Explorer it freezes and crashes. The window becomes "unresponsive". I have to use task manager to restart it only to have it crash again. The only way I can open documents is going through Word or Excel.

This is a major issue. Why am I going to use this computer if I cannot easily access my files! This is ridiculous and I want to return this computer and switch to an Apple. Why spend so much money on this computer for it to not even work! I want a refund!
