Windows 10: File Explorer doesn't display network path

    File Explorer doesn't display network path


    For example, run \\thecomputer for the first timeA file explorer will popup, but at the address bar, it only shows "my computer" icon. https://i.imgur.com/Na1arby.pngIf i clicked any folder then back, the network and computer name will show up correctly.https://i.imgur.com/88wWg0j.pngIs there any setting related to this?

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    How to have full path always show in Address bar in file explorer?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

    You can change the Windows 11 File Explorer address bar to show the full file path by following these steps:

    1. Open File Explorer.
    2. Click on the three-dot menu icon located at the top right of the window.
    3. Click on 'Options'.
    4. In the 'Folder Options' window that appears, go to the 'View' tab.
    5. In the 'Advanced settings' list, find and check the 'Display the full path in the title bar' option.
    6. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.
