Windows 10: File Explorer shuts down by itself

Discus and support File Explorer shuts down by itself in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; When I open File Explorer it immediately shuts down.     File Explorer shuts down by itself


    When I open File Explorer it immediately shuts down. Then I need to reopen it 1 or 2 times & then it is okay. Hope someone can help.

    File Explorer it shuts down by itself and system freezes when using Chrome brower or Quicken.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I have had to leave my home for a week so I won't be able to try the "fixes" until next week. I will let you know how I make out then.

    File Explorer it shuts down by itself and system freezes when using Chrome brower or Quicken.

    The computer is not operating properly. When exiting a program it freezes for 10 to 20 seconds. The file explorer closes on its on regularly. I tried the two suggestions you made earlier. They made no improvement. It seems to me that the Windows install
    process was faulty. Is it appropriate to reinstall Windows 10?
