  1. File manager very slow

In the last week or so certain operations whilst using File Manager are going very slow. I'm using a fully updated version of Windows 10 on a PC. Opening a file manager window works okay, but clicking 'New Folder' takes 20 seconds for the folder to appear. Deleting a file to the recycle bin and moving a file from one destination to another also takes 20 seconds. Certain operations can be speeded up to about 5 seconds by repeatedly pressing F5 to refresh. I thought it might be a problem with free space on my hard drive but I have 13.5GB free on a 128GB SSD, so should be good enough. Opening C drive properties, Tools and clicking Optimise takes 1 min 20 seconds to bring up the optimiser dialog. Any suggestions as to what my be causing this and what the fix is please? I am planning to do a new reinstall of Windows onto a larger SSD soon, but don't want the same thing to happen. I also tried temporarily disabling my virus software to no effect. I'm wondering if the the problem is related to one of several Windows updates that came through recently, including the cumulative update KB4467702, but has anyone else had this problem?

    :)

There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager

I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.
