Windows 10: File names showing, but not icons W11

I restarted my pc, and then the desktop icons only show file names, not the actual icons. File explorer is like that too, its acting weird and shows all white when I enter the control panel, and also the desktop is not in the desktop, but i need to click it. Installed OS 2 weeks ago, version 21h2 build 22000.348 W11 Pro. Screenshots:Anyone has any idea? Yes, the thing that says desktop links to the desktop folder

Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

My Desktop is showing icons as normal. But if I try to find what is on my desktop by using file manager, I cannot find the icon. I also checked under C;\user my name, public, default and no desktop listed on any of them. Any suggestions?

 

While sending mail, does not show my name, instead shows my email address

I would suggest you to follow the steps to change the Account display in Mail app:

1. Open Mail app

2. Select “settings”.

3. Under settings select “Manage Account”.

4. Click on the Account name

5. Change the Account name

If still not working, try the steps below:

• In the Mail app, open Settings (the gear icon).
• Click 'Manage Accounts'
• Select the account you want to change the outgoing display name for
• Click 'options for syncing email, contacts, and calendar'
• in the account sync settings, there should be a 'Your name' text field that is used as the display name for outgoing emails.

The concern you have encountered with system icons may be due to a corrupted file or a misconfigured setting. In this case, we suggest that you go through the taskbar settings by simply followwing the steps below and see if it helps.

• Right-click on an empty space in your desktop taskbar and select Taskbar settings.
• Click Turn system icons on or off.
• If you'd like to always show all icons, turn the slider window to On.
