Windows 10: File sharing problem in the Intranet

We have a shared folder in the Intranet. And most of us can access it without any problem.

But some of the people just can't access it.

The run \\10.*.*.* in Run and there comes the error message.

Seems it's trying to find the link on local PC.



And I also tried to "Add a network loaction".

The ERROR message now is: Windows requires a share to publish to.



Other shared folders are accessable on their PCs.

• Have you made any changes on your PC?
• Did you perform any Windows update recently?
• Are you connected to Domain network?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if that helps.

1. To share files over file explorer refer the following

2. Refer article for
   file sharing over a network.

intranet error on nokia e5

same problem with my E-Five that i bought yesterday....

The "Intranet"[Menu->Office->Intranet] refuses to start after 3 times usage, any suggestion to fix this ? , thanks....

 

Sharing Problems

Thanks for the suggestion, that menu is new to me, but no they're both checked. The problem isn't just the printing, I can't access PC1 at all. I should at least be able to get into shared files or devices but I just always get that error.

Windows Firewall and avast on both. I've disabled both on both computers temporarily to no avail. The problem seemingly lies elsewhere.
