Windows 10: Files Disappeared. (2019)

So my laptop recently had an update. But then I realized my folders were missing. Nothing else, just the folders. I found them through the search bar. (oh yeah, my background and most of my settings were reset also.) So I eventually got everything back, but I had just restarted my laptop recently and my folders are gone again. But this time however, I can't find my folders anywhere. I didn't have an SD card or a drive either so I couldn't find a way to get them back at all. My desktop background has glitched too, and I can't change the background. I've tried resetting again. Has this happend to anyone else or can somebody help me?

Note: I have had malware recently, but I have installed Malwarebytes, deleted it, AND deleted core files I found of it. Just thought I would let you know in case anyone has heard of a type of virus that does this.

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

 

Downloaded files disappear


When you download a file through any browser, there's an option somewhere to 'Open Containing Folder.'

In Windows, to find a file you have downloaded...

1. Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button and then clicking your user name at the top of the Start menu's right pane.
   
2. Double-click one of the following folders:
   
   • Downloads
     
   • Documents
     
   • Pictures
     
   • Videos
     
   • Music

If you do not see the file you are looking for, but know its file name, you can search for it by following these steps:
To search for a file you have downloaded...

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Type all or part of the file name into the Search box.
   The file you are looking for will appear in the list of results.

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• May we know the location of the file folder that you created that disappeared?
• Have you tried using the Search box to search for the files that you made?
