Windows 10: Files ready to be written to disk Message

I have read other questions on here regarding the same thing, but haven't found one to address this.


They all say



1. Click Start.

2. Click on Computer.

3. Click on CD/DVD drive.

4. If you have any data, you may delete it.


HOWEVER, I don't want to delete the files if they've not been written to the disk. How do I make sure they are written to the disk. I'm not sure if the "waiting to be written to Disk" are the files I need to put on the disk, or if they are actually on the disk.


How do I determine that? FYI I'm not real computer savy, so please be kind in the answers.

Cannot read files on floppy disk

Hi, I have files that I know are good on a floppydisk. On trying to access them a message says the disk need formatting. I have tried to use PhotoRec from the UBCD but it will apparantly only read HDD or CD/DVD.

Can anyone suggest a freeware program that might work. Thank you for your help.

 

Disk management console view is not up-to-date

i dont know how to fix your disk management, but i can fix your partition problems...




open up Command Prompt with admin rights. (Right click, run as admin)


enter in
DISKPART
list disk

then find the Disk number for your Raid array... lets call it number 7 ( you can tell what disk is what by the total size)
type in

Select Disk 7
List Partition (will give you a list of all the partitions..)
Select Partition 1 (im assuming you only have 1 partition on Disk 7) repeat this step if you have more partitions.
ASSIGN


that should get the array up and running ready to use.

The "Getting windows ready" is a notification message for the update. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

• Press and hold the power button until it turned off.
• Restart your computer and check if the message still appear.
