Windows 10: Find a game on another drive after windows reinstall

Hey all,


I have Forza Horizon 4 installed on another drive but had to do a reinstall of Windows after something messed up. However I now get a weird issue when trying to install it to that same drive. I didn't delete anything from that drive so FH4 should still be on there but when I go to the Microsoft store and try to install FH4 on that drive it just doesn't do anything. I select my E drive which used to be D in my previous install, not sure if that matters but when I click install it just doesn't do anything at all. I can click it as many times as I want but the little windows where I select the drive stays up, nothing freezes, it just doesn't do anything. Is there a way to have the Microsoft store search for installed programs on other drives like I can do with steam?

Reinstall Windows 10 to new hard drive

We want to know about the issue you're having with your recovery drive. Please answer the questions below:

• Are you trying to reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10?
• If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

We suggest creating a new copy of the recovery drive and then follow the steps provided by Andre Da Costa above this thread.

• restarted

• reconnected HDD

I can't reinstall my previously installed games!!!

It appears that you're having an issue installing your previous games after reinstalling Windows 10. We would like to know if it is only happening when you're installing your games or is it also happening when you're installing an app from Microsoft Store.

Meanwhile, we suggest clearing Windows Store's cache by performing these steps:

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe then hit Enter.
• Restart your computer.
