Windows 10: Find and Replace with Windows 10

Discus and support Find and Replace with Windows 10 in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have many files in a subdirectory that I need to add an "a" after the current name and prior to .jpg.     Find and Replace with Windows 10


    I have many files in a subdirectory that I need to add an "a" after the current name and prior to .jpg. In Windows 7 I could use "find and replace." Such as Find 0.jpg and Replace with 0a.jpg. After doing that for all 10 digits all of the 1000+ files would be renamed. I saw multiple 3rd party programs, none of which I've heard of, that said they could accomplish the above. Can Windows 10 accomplish the task within the program?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
