Windows 10: FINDING FILES

Since running W10 I have not needed to find a file they are where I expect them to be. So now I need to find some files that are not in their expected place but cannot find how to do a search. I must be missing something and feel stupid.

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Go to Search and type the Adobe files and open those files.
• Then go to the location where those files have been saved.

Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

My Desktop is showing icons as normal. But if I try to find what is on my desktop by using file manager, I cannot find the icon. I also checked under C;\user my name, public, default and no desktop listed on any of them. Any suggestions?
