Fine-grained app block in Faimily Safety

My son uses his Windows PC the whole day for remote schooling. Confined at home, I am glad that he can interact with his good friends with Microsoft Teams. However, having access to teams throughout the day is very distracting for him because he opens it whenever he feels bored. I want to set his access to Teams during specific times. For example, 5 minutes of access at the top of every hour. In this way, he can chat with friends throughout the day but cannot open Teams whenever he wants.

I know that Family Safety can set a total time limit on a specific app for the entire day and set a single time window during which that app can be used. However, this is not helpful for what I want to achieve. Is it possible to set multiple time slots for accessing a specific app?

    :)

  2. Family Safety App Blocking Not Working

    Hi Mike,

Let's make sure that the apps you mentioned are properly blocked to ensure that your kids will not be able to access it. To do that , follow the steps below:

    • Log in to your Family Safety account.
    • Click App, games & media.
    • Toggle on the Block inappropriate apps and games option.
    • Under Limit apps, games, and media from Store, click the drop-down list to adjust the restriction.
    • In the Blocked apps & games list, check if Google Chrome is included.
