Windows 10: FINGERPRINT SENSOR PROBLEM ON DELL LATITUDE E5430

Good day,

When I set up my fingerprint in my windows hello it always says that "that fingerprint has already been set up on another account. Try a different finger." In the past, I was able to set it up without problems. However, when I performed a clean install of Windows 10 Pro and reinstalled everything (I downloaded the fingerprint driver on Dell's website because it's the only place where I can get the driver), this happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the fingerprint driver, tried to access the BIOS and remove the saved fingerprints from there (but i didn't find it) but no chance of fixing the issue.

Dell fingerprint reader not working

Hello all,

I recently upgraded my Dell Latitude E6410 from 7 to Windows 10 and almost everything worked fine, including my fingerprint sensor under Windows Hello.

To sort out a problem with the start screen, I was finally obliged to reset the computer, re-installing Windows 10> Now, everything works except my fingerprint scanner.

I get onto Windows Hello set up as far as Scan your fingerprint, but now the scanner does not react and I stay on the "scan your fingerprint" panel.

I would be grateful for any advice or solution anyone can come up with.

i am trying to find fingerprint software for my DELL latitude e6430

Yes hello. I just bought this new Dell Latitude E 6430 with Windows 10 64 Bit Enterprise Edition installed on it. But can't find a compatible fingerprint reader software. . And the option to enroll my fingerprints in the windows user account page is
not there. Any solutions? Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Thanks! for the help.
