Finished Windows 10 updates, now nothing works

Did windows 10 updates on my Lenovo idea pad laptop this morning and now have myriad of problems. Look everywhere for solutions, tried multiple restarts, nothing works.

    1. Cannot connect to internet. Can't even access network or connection screens through control panel or bottom desktop toolbar(nothing happens when clicked)

    2. Browsers don't work correctly, Firefox won't open at all, Chrome opens a blank white window with invisible address bar(???), edge doesn't even seem to be installed anymore(??????)

    3. Ctrl alt del goes to a blank black screen, have to press ESC to exit. (Can still get to task manager through other means though)

    4. Cannot access start menu. Can right click on it to access device menu/ task manager/control panel/etc but nothin happens when clicked normally

    5. Cannot get right click menus from most things, namely the bottom desktop toolbar, most program icons do nothing when clicked (but some still do...?)

    6. Notifications do not appear (though I can still see the number of them that I have) and can't access action center or updates page

Tldr: installed updates, no internet now, most programs/menus do nothing when clicked, help?

Update: I managed to get online somehow. Firefox finally opened after like an hour and was able to launch it in "Safe mode" (so none of my add-ons work...). Also managed to get to the Network Connections folder by right-clicking on the start menu (which now does not work anymore AT ALL, left-click or right click!) and manually connect to my Wi-Fi. I have internet connection and a working browser(for now), but other than that, everything else is still being stupid. I can't even access my display settings/personalization by right-clicking on the desktop as I get an error prompt that reads:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

Without the right-click on the start menu I don't even know how to access the control panel or command prompt or anything. I could really use some help here guys....

    :)

  2. PC stuck in restart loop

I was doing a normal update on my Windows 10 laptop (the PC came with Windows 10 and I WAS NOT INSTALLING AN OS, JUST A REGULAR WINDOWS UPDATE). Mid update my power went out, and since the update was taking an absurdly long amount of time, my laptop died
before the update had finished. Now my laptop just keeps looping a restart and saying "Windows could not finish installation, restart to finish installation."

I have tried every piece of Shift+F10 advice and nothing in my command prompt works to solve the issue.

I am about 5 seconds away from losing my sanity because nothing f****** works.

Could you be a bit more specific? I can't figure out how to even get to the Update & Security page. My Start menu is not working at all, right click or left click. I can right click on the task bar and click "Settings" but nothing happens afterwards. I'm not sure where to find Update & Security in the control panel or explorer either...

Sorry I'm not too competent with this stuff...

Tried multiple times to restore my computer to different restore points, failed every time and got an error prompt every time saying it failed to extract some file(different one each time) and did not complete.

Don't know what else to do. Half my programs are unusable, can barely get online, can't access certain right-click menus and drop-downs, taskbar mostly unresponsive.

  12. If you want to get rid of the problematic update, this could work. This method is if you are on the computer right NOW.

If you can use your taskbar to click on cortana (the search windows rectangle on taskbar), and then type in Programs and features. On the upper left side you'll see a thing that says "View installed updates". Click on that.

Now you can click on whatever update is messing you up, uninstall it, and then restart.

If you're really stuck you can (I've never done it)
    - start system restore offline (from outside Windows) - i.e. you don't even have to boot (your broken) Windows.
    - uninstall updates offline

I would also run a routine disk check:

Try Crystal Diskinfo - it gives a quick go/no go indication based on SMART parameters.
(Free/portable/installer) - i.e. you could run it from a USB disk if you wished.
