  1. FirewallAPI.dll -80201 and -80206

I accidentally downloaded something on my desktop that hijacked some of my social media accounts connected to my Gmail. The first account to be hijacked was my Instagram, which started following random people, and thanks to Meta, it got shut down. My Discord account was also hijacked and sent messages with a link about crypto to random users. When I noticed this, I immediately changed the passwords on all the accounts I could remember that were connected to my Gmail, including my Gmail itself. I reinstalled Windows as quickly as possible formatted my drive and thought it would be okay, but t

How can I check there are no malicious entries in the Windows Firewall

Many times in the "Windows Defender Firewall" of the "Control Panel", some apps or features are allowed through the "Windows Defender Firewall" in a completely automatic way and without any warning to the user.

In my laptop, for example, I see this situation (only the first part of the list!) Where the first elements are, perhaps, deleted if I perform the "Restore Defaults" excluding @ FirewallAPI.dll, -80201 and @FireWallAPI. dll, -80206 which instead remain, as I have tested other times before performing the update 20H2 to the build SO 19042.685 which instead have been added, precisely after the update, the first 5 elements:

The question is this: how can a user determine if there are unsafe apps or features in the list?

The unfortunate situation is above all given by the fact that the names in the list are really cryptic and there is no use obtaining information by clicking on the "Details" button.

So what I would like to know is how do you analyze this list to determine if you are safe or not?

    Thanks in advance.

  3. DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

    DLL Missing

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

If the link still needs to be removed, then let me know
