Will downloaded games that are meant for windows 8 work with windows 10

The Windows 10 RTM final release is complete copy of the software that is designated as ready and fit for use in production environments. To reach RTM, a particular build has to go through a series of thorough regression test and optimizations to reach a
level of quality satisfactory for production.

For example, Windows 7 RTM build 7600.16385 that build and was completed on July 22nd 2009. Another major difference between Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) and RTM (in particular Ultimate), with the RC it goes into Reduced Functional Mode on June 1st 2010,
    bi-hourly shutdowns will begine March 1st 2010.

Another difference is, the RTM build does not expire.

I have Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 10074 and I would like to know if I can Reserve or upgrade to the full Windows 10 when it comes out?

Yes, it is, it means it is final (technically). Its not a relevant description these days since Windows 10 will continually be revised and updated, buts a representation of the milestone when Microsoft deems it fit for production.

This close to the release date, I would have expected the RTM version to already have been finalized and advanced copies sent to PC vendors such as Dell, HP, etc. Usually the PC companies get the RTM versions ahead of time so they can compile and generate their disc images.

It appears that The Insiders will get it first-but who knows. MS probably has it built already.

It looks like July 9th may be the RTM date then, if nothing else goes wrong. I hope we get that build. Looks like my July7th date was close, but no cigar.
