    Fix update error 0x80096004


    As a Windows Insider, update version 17046.1000 is shown as available, but every attempt to download gets the same error message: 0x80096004.

    Have tried numerous fixes including MS update repair, registry repair, etc, etc.

    Any suggestions which do NOT include using system restore, or a paid repair app?

    OK Updated to W 10 version 1703

    New Updates are installing BUT old ones sill a problem

    I am getting these errors from windows update. Have tried several days in a row now.

    Office XP Update: KB833858 - Error 0x80096004

    Office XP Update: KB837253 - Error 0x80096004

    Security Update for PowerPoint 2002 (KB905758) - Error 0x80096004

    Security Update for SharePoint Team Services (KB911701) - Error 0x80096004

    Update for Access 2002 (KB904018) - Error 0x80096004

    Update for Office XP (KB913471) - Error 0x80096004

    I guess these are no longer Supported so Can i hide them from update Because these are a Pain in my ***

    Secondly Still can not Activate WIN 10 Due to not being online but i am ERROR OX8007232B

    Windows 10 "Windows Updater" is running all the time over and over again trying to install updates that are no longer available?

    I do not know how to fix this?
