Windows 10: fixboot access denied not fixed by diskpart routine

Discus and support fixboot access denied not fixed by diskpart routine in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I have a win10 computer that won't boot and instead reports registry problems.     I have a win10 computer that won't boot and instead reports registry problems.


    Doing the bootrec routine I get 'access denied' on /fixboot.


    Following the routines described in the thread about that very thing right up to the last command:


    bcdbot c:\windows /s N: /F:UEFI


    everything goes fine.


    And then we should be able to run bootrec /fixboot.


    But I can't. I still get 'access denied'.


    Are there are further developments on this? Anything more I can do before zapping the whole drive?

    Thanks for the reply. I have tried the How to Fix Error Code: 0xc0000034 - MajorGeeks link.

    On step two "bootrec /fixboot", I receive the error "access denied" and have looked at many other differently forums about fixing the access denied issue. Problem is, each fix has similar but different wordings and commands. Some are very vague and often
    give command that are invalid or not accepted. There are quite a few people that said they seemed to fix this "access denied" issue as well.

    One suggestion is to assign a drive letter using diskpart and format the EFI partition with this command: "format N: /FS:FAT32". The warning that all will be erased concerns me. Will I loose all my data on my computer.

    I have a problem, i uninstalled ubuntu with GRUB recently and wanted to fix windows bootloader. And when i type bootrec /fixmbr everything's fine, but when i type bootrec /fixboot it shows access denied. I've read answear to this question
