    My computer locked up so I restarted it and got

    Fixing C: Stage 1 : 0% 2491 of 1246464; Total: 0%; ETA: 189:37:21 ...

    At first it said 9 hours but now it says 7.88 days.

    Is there any way to skip this or do I have to wait over a week.

    My PC was running very slowly and I was unable to really get to a regular power off so I had to do a manual shut down. When I turned the computer back on I was greeted with the automatic disk check and repair. I'm currently at the state of the title fixing
    (CFixing C: Stage 1 : 0% 2491 of 1246464; Total: 0%; ETA: 189:37:33 ... :) stage 3: 100% (0 of 0); Total: 99%; ETA: 0:00:00.     and it has been hanging for over 30 minutes thus far. Is this a hanging loop or should I wait for it to try to work itself out? What would be my next steps in order to proceed if this doesn't complete?

    Hello everyone !!

    Last day when I switched on my desktop it did not start and was showing that your PC needs to be repaired and error 0xc0000225. I had flash drive of windows installation media. So I used it to to repair the windows but it was not successful. So instead I
    installed the windows in the drive D instead of drive C (where my windows was previously installed). After installation, when the PC was rebooting it showed Fixing (DFixing C: Stage 1 : 0% 2491 of 1246464; Total: 0%; ETA: 189:37:33 ... :) Stage 1: 5% (26547 of 506368); Total 1% ETA: 21:40:55. I thought it will take some time
    to finish the process. I left it overnight. In the morning, I saw the PC was off. I switched it on, luckily the windows started, but every data on drive C was not present. Also, windows was asking for a restart, so I restarted the PC but instead of restarting
    the PC was again Fixing (DFixing C: Stage 1 : 0% 2491 of 1246464; Total: 0%; ETA: 189:37:33 ... :) Stage 1: 5% (26547 of 506368); Total 1% ETA: 21:40:55.

    Please help me what should I do ?
