Windows 10: Fixing D: Stage 1

Basically last night my laptop hang..and i dont want to wait because i need to go to work so i decided to force shut down by pressing the power button. When I turn it on back this problem occur...im quiet shock because the ETA is about 24hrs +++. So i wait until it complete and after it complete..i shut my laptop normally and today i open it back it occur again. I've done my research that this problem occur because of sudden turn off of computer but to think that it happen again right after it complete the fixing..hmm. my question is what should i do after the fixing complete. Should I send it to computer shop or can i fixing it by myself? Because im in need of money right now.

Hello everyone !!

Last day when I switched on my desktop it did not start and was showing that your PC needs to be repaired and error 0xc0000225. I had flash drive of windows installation media. So I used it to to repair the windows but it was not successful. So instead I
installed the windows in the drive D instead of drive C (where my windows was previously installed). After installation, when the PC was rebooting it showed Fixing (D Stage 1: 5% (26547 of 506368); Total 1% ETA: 21:40:55. I thought it will take some time
to finish the process. I left it overnight. In the morning, I saw the PC was off. I switched it on, luckily the windows started, but every data on drive C was not present. Also, windows was asking for a restart, so I restarted the PC but instead of restarting
the PC was again Fixing (D Stage 1: 5% (26547 of 506368); Total 1% ETA: 21:40:55.

Please help me what should I do ?

 

“Fixing (C Stage 1...” has been processing for days

I left my computer on several days ago and after walking away from it...

I returned to it on its startup screen with the following line across the bottom (the values are the most recent but started from—at least when I finally returned to my computer—when I found it at Stage 1: 51% and total 18%):

Fixing (C Stage 1: 53% (295928 of 556800); Total: 19%; ETA: 966:12:12

I have searched a bit for what to do but have basically found that what you need to do is just be patient and wait it out until it finishes.

So I have 3 questions:

1. How long should I expect for it to take? It’s already been almost a week and the total percentage only increased by one so far.
2. Is it ok to interrupt it by turning my computer off?— because there’s no sign of it finishing anytime soon and I need to use my computer.
3. What does the “ETA” part stand for? Is it estimated time to finish, elapsed time, or something else entirely?

R-22 would be good for your top end. I wouldnt suggest using R-410A though. It runs to high of head pressures, it wouldnt be the best choice. I would look at some of the retrofit refrigerants for R-12 and R-502. They have better efficiencies at lower temps. If it were my system I would look at R-134A or R-22 for my top end cooling and probably R-404A, Hotshot or maybe MP-39 for a sencond stage cooling. These refrigerants are more efficient at lower temps. If you really get fancy maybe get a 3rd stage going with some R-11 but it is very expensive.
This thread is getting me all excited *Big Grin I got some equipment laying around the shop I might try another setup soon. I'll keep you posted if I do. Maybe put together a step by step log thread.
