  1. Flash player issues

    Hi all,

Have recently had a problem occur and haven't been able to find any help in resolving it so, thought i'd try here.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a windows update on my computer. I have Win 10 Pro version. The update also included updates for adobe flash player and I thought nothing of it until I saw the following whilst playing poker on Partypoker:

    Flash player issues f340f7eb-2782-4dfb-bc04-ccd39589a6d3?upload=true.jpg

Up Until the updates, everything worked fine and everything else apart from the Partypoker hand re-player still works fine as far as i'm aware. I play on other poker sites that require flash and have no issues there.

I use chrome browser and my understanding is that flash comes automatically with it but, after seeing the message in the pic above, I also downloaded the latest adobe flash player from there site as a stand alone program and yet, it's made no difference.

I'm guessing the Window updates may have something to do with this (due to the timing) but, i'm no expert and can't be certain.

If it helps, the updates history show the following we're installed:

2018-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 based systems (KB4471332)

Update for Adobe flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 based systems (KB4462903)

2018-12 Security Update for Adobe flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 based systems (KB4471331)

    2018-12 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 (KB4470520)

I have no idea what i need to do to fix this and I use the hand re-player a lot when playing poker so, would really appreciate any advice or help anyone could please give me.

    Tks.

    :)

    Flash Player

    Hi,

One possible cause why your Flash Player was not working is due to a software conflict. To isolate your issue, we'd to know if you've tried accessing the involved sites using another browser. Does the issue still persist?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you follow these steps to download Flash Player and make sure Flash Player settings is turned on:

    • If you see a Blocked Adobe Flash content puzzle piece near the Favorites button, click it, then either
Allow once or Always allow to allow Flash on the page.
    • If you don't see a Blocked Adobe Flash content puzzle piece but you do not see a note to download flash on the page, click the download link and Edge should enable the puzzle piece so you can follow step 1.

Let us know if you need further assistance

  3. I can't find Adobe Flash Player

    Hi Manal,

I realize that you are unable to find Adobe Flash player in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge. I will try to help you with this issue.

To check if Adobe software package is installed on the PC, follow these steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on Programs and Features.

    • You will get the list of all installed programs on the PC.

Suggest you to refer to these articles to check if that helps.

    Flash Player issues

    Hi,

If there are no errors when playing videos on different website using Edge or Internet Explorer, it means the issue is on the specific browser. With Google Chrome, kindly follow these steps to allow websites to run Flash Player:

    • Type chrome://settings/content on the address bar.
    • On the Content settings select Allow sites to run Flash then
      Done.
    • To manage Flash Player settings using the website, click Manage exceptions.
    • On the Flash exceptions screen, enter the website address and then choose
      Allow, then Done.
    • Close the Content setting screen.

Let us know if you need further help.
